Among the major trekking destinations in Nepal, Everest region (also called Khumbu region) comes in the rank of first and foremost position. It is because of the high snow-capped mountains including Mt. Everest (the top of the world) and their enchanting, eye-catching, breathtaking and fascinating sceneries. Only this is not enough reason but the unique culture, tradition and lifestyle of local people of Khumbu and the ancient monasteries are also the reason people go to visit in Khumbu region.
