Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of the most demanding treks in Nepal. It is in the western part of Nepal and the trek circles Mt. Dhaulagiri (White Mountain), which is the 7th tallest mountain in the world. The trek was organized by the French Expedition in the year 1950, for the first time. The trip gives you chance to see the majestic views of all Dhaulagiri ranges, named by the numbers Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, and V. And it also offers you magnificent views of other mountains like Annapurnas, Nilgiri, Tukuche, and many more. As the trip is the most challenging trek, we have two high passes called French Pass (5360m) and Dhampus Pass (5200m) and we pass through high pastures and unpopulated areas for a few days so your need to be well-equipped and you should have well-knowledge of navigation (if it snows) during the trek. The trek also gives you chances to see wildlife like Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, and some endangered animals like Red Panda and Leopards. You also can experience the unique culture of Magar, Gurung, and Thakali in the villages of Beni, Doban, Kobang, Tukuche, Marpha, and Jomsom. In summary, Dhaulagiri Circuit is a perfect package for nature lovers, mountain lovers, explorers, highly adventurers, well-navigator, those who want to be in an uninhabited area and remote area, and for those who want to do a fully camping trek.
The trip begins from Beni Bazaar, gradually climbs to Italian Base Camp, and eventually enters Hidden Valley. After passing Dhampus Pass, we enter Kali Gandaki Valley joins to Classic Annapurna Circuit route, and trek to either Jomsom and fly to Pokhara or drive back to Pokhara.
