Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive to Kathmandu, meet and transfer to Hotel
Our representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport, who helps you to go to Hotel and and check in the Hotel. In the evening, brieffing for the trip overniew.
Day 2: Drive to Pattale(2932m). Overnight at Lodge
Pattale, in the lower Solukhumbu region; is the best place to view the high snowcapped mountains including Mt. Everest, Makalu, Numbur and other mountains. Overnight at Lodge
Day 3: Drive to Bung (1677m). Overnight at Lodge
Meet and interact with local people. Bung is the inhabitant of Rais, who are one of the tribes in Nepal. You may have chances to see the real rural life of Nepalese. You can spend a few days by visiting the surrounding villages if you have time.
Day 4: Trek to Khiraule (2600). Khiraule is a Sherpa village. Overnight at Lodge
They are in different way of life and also different economic background than the Sherpas from Khumbu Everest region. Here, you have a chance to see a monastery.
Day 5: Trek to Cholem Kharka (3560m). Overnight at Lodge
It is an isolated small village with two small teashops. It is located on top of Hill, so you have chances to see the beautiful views of lower valley in the clear day.
Day 6: Trek to Kholakharka (4350m). Overnight at Lodge
Today, we have a small pass called (Hurhure) and then go into Panch Pokhari – five lakes (one of the group of holy lakes in Nepal). Naturally, the lakes are very beautiful. It is also a pilgrims place so lots of local shamans and local people go there for getting blessed and fullfil their wishes.
Day 7: Trek to Kothe (3550m). Overnight at Lodge
Most of our journey will be in the jungle today. There is not any single teashop in between. So please prepare yourself with some snacks and some Hot water for the day.
Day 8: Trek to Thangnak (4326m). Overnight at Lodge
Now, we are in the main route of Mera Peak. We can find a few basic teashops on the way. We follow Hinku River.
Day 9: Trek to Khare (4950m). Overnight at Lodge
After breakfast in the morning, we start our trek of the day by following Hinku River again. We have short day today so we will get to Khare by lunch. Khare is the last place where you will be accommodate in the lodge.
Day 10: Acclimatization and preparation day. Overnight at Lodge
Today, you have acclimatization day in Khare. Please check your equipments for climbing, with your climbing guide. You can learn some climbing skills with the guide.
Day 11: Trek to High Camp (5780m). Overnight at Tented Camp
The trek starts with uphill and pass through Mera La (5300m). You need climbing boots and crampons from here. And also, you need snacks, some foods and hot water for drinking during the day.
Day 12: Extra day in the case of bad weather. Overnight at Tented Camp
You may need the extra day in case of bad weather. If the weather is fine, you can carry on attempting the summit the following day.
Day 13: Summit and trek back to Khare. Overnight at Lodge
You will start early in the morning for summiting. Once, you do summit and take some photos of you; you will come down to Khare.
Day 14: Trek back to Kothe. Overnight at Lodge
We follow the same way to get back to Kothe.
Day 15: Trek back to Thuli Kharka (3900m). Overnight at Lodge
After breakfast, we start our trek to Thulikharka. The trail split with the trail we went up after after sometime of walking from Kothe.
Day 16: Trek back to Lukla (2800m). Overnight at Lodge
Trek back to Lukla from Thuli Kharka via Zatrawala Pass (4600m). In the evening, we celebrate the final night of the trip with the crews.
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel
You may fly in Kathmandu or Ramechhap, the nearest airport from Kathmandu - that depends on the time are in Nepal. If it is in high season of Everest region, you should fly in to Ramechhap.
Day 18: Day in leisure in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
You can spend time by shopping or independent sightseeing.
Day 19: Final departure
This is time to say goodbye to you. We will take you to the airport for your home country or your next destination.
